This Wild Adventure

In October of 2015, with a couple of cameras, camping equipment, joined by my partner Jude and our mountain dog, Hunter, we hit the open road in our dusty old Chevy.

Our journey would have us departing our home in Vancouver, Canada, to the North, destined for sunny Los Cabos, Mexico, to the South, for over 100 days of travel.

From sprawling mountain views to derelict and oft neglected structures, the subjects changed as often as the wind, reflective of social circumstance, climate and geography.  At times we could be found living on pristine and isolated beaches, and others, exploring once vibrant towns with very little life left.

Combined, these images form a collection depicting the variety of life in North America: on the road or stationary; natural or man made; beautiful and ugly.
